Every number on this page is a from-price — the band the eventual invoice lands inside for most jobs in that device class. The exact price comes from the bench diagnosis, after the device or pack is on the bench and we've read the part actually needed.
We don't price-match, we don't promise "lowest in town", and we don't run online-only discount carrots. The numbers our local customers see on the quote are the same numbers you see on this page — no national franchise markup layered on top, no first-time-customer surcharge peeled off later.
Not every device is a candidate, and not every battery pack is rebuild-eligible. A swollen housing, a missing protection board, or a cracked shell that won't go back together is a "no" answer — and we give them to you for free during the look-over.

We don't do price-matching or "lowest in town" claims; the price the bench quotes is the price the job costs. If the device isn’t a candidate for a third-party repair, the look-over that gets us there is free.
Tool battery pack rebuilding
Per-pack rebuild ranges, by volt family.
The price scales with the pack voltage and the cell count — oddball voltages and higher cell-count packs price above the band. The bench reads the actual pack on the bench before any work starts.
12V packs
From $45The lowest cell-count family — a 12V slide or stick pack with 2 to 4 cells, no BMS to bypass, the smallest parts cost on the bench.
18V / 20V Max slide
$90 – $160The cordless-tool workhorses — 5 to 10 cells in series, name-brand cells sized to the original spec, balance leads re-terminated, basic capacity test on the way out.
40V / 60V / higher cell-count
Up to $250Higher cell counts and oddball voltages — including the older brick housings. The from-price climbs with the cell count; the actual quote climbs with the cell family and the current parts stock on the bench.
Not every battery is rebuild-eligible. A physically swollen housing, a missing BMS we can't source, or a cracked shell that won't go back together is a "no" answer — and the answer comes free during the look-over. The on-the-bench page above spells out the disqualifiers; email the bench with a couple of photos and the model number if you'd like a read before bringing the pack in.

How the quote works
Diagnosis first, written quote before any work.
No magic, no chain-store script, no "from-price" that quietly inflates once the device is on the bench. A bench repair is exactly what the warranty covers.
The from-prices on this page set the bench-true range for each repair family. The actual quote happens after the phone, laptop, tablet, or pack is on the bench and we've read the part actually needed. For screens and batteries on phones and tablets, the quote is the flat $90 unless the device isn’t a candidate. Tool pack rebuilds still scale with the cell family and voltage, because cell cost is what drives that number. The honesty is in the read first, the price second.
For tool battery packs, every rebuild is opened and inspected first. A healthy BMS stays; a missing or damaged protector is called out before we touch the cells. Same flow whether the pack walks in or arrives on a ground-rate label.
On the way out you get a one-year bench warranty on the work — pickup, mail-in, or on-site handoff, same warranty either way. The bench does not promise OEM-equivalent safety, capacity, or compatibility on a third-party repair or a rebuilt pack. What you get is honest bench work with a real person at the counter.
